You won't hear from us for a couple of weeks...we're going to the condo in Orange Beach for the week, then to Houston, TX to visit Brad's family through 4th of July. We'll post lots of pictures when we get back!

Happy Father's Day/Anniversary

Happy Father's Day to Brad! And Happy Anniversary tomorrow! We never knew how FUN our first year would be...2 moves, new job, new town, new house, new baby. We have so many blessings to be thankful for. I'm very thankful that I married a man who I knew, while we were dating, would make a great daddy someday. And even though it was sooner than we had planned, I was exactly right--- he is wonderful to Brody. I love you Brad. I'm excited about many more years together and more babies (NOT anytime soon!!!) to celebrate Father's Day :)

Nurse Jones

We just found out I got accepted to nursing school for the fall! Brad and I are both very excited. I know it's going to be alot of work with a little person around, but I'm determined to do it. I went 4 years ago to one year of nursing school at UMC in Jackson, but decided not to keep going. I have regretted it so badly. I'm happy I've gotten another chance to do this. I would appreciate everyone's prayers, as I know it is not going to be easy. But I am ready!
Luckily, I'm going to be in a night and weekend program, so I'll be at home with Brody 3 or 4 days of the week. I'm very excited about that. We have found a great lady who keeps about 4 babies in her home who will be keeping him in August.

wedding weekend and the beach!

Saturday night we went to Lauren and Jeff's wedding. Brody and I waited until the reception. I didn't want us to be "the lady and her screaming kid" (which apparently there was one in there!) Everything was really nice, and they looked so happy and in love.



We took Brody out early Saturday morning to stick his toes in the ocean. He didn't even cry. :) Here are some pictures...
