Daddy
I had made a post last night, then took it down because it might have been too personal regarding my family, but I decided to re-post it so everyone would know
"First I have to say THANK YOU JESUS Daddy is ok...
This afternoon around 4:00 Dad was walking in a city park over near Starkville Academy. He always exercises there and he had an Ipod on listening. He was jumped by 6-8 young guys. They punched him in the face and broke a bottle over his head. He is very upset and shaken. It upsets me too because in that huge number, they could have really hurt him. He called the police and they came. They said they couldn't do anything- it was probably a gang initiation. That made Dad even more upset.
So anyway- say a little prayer for him. He has cuts on top of his head and a couple of places on his cheeks where they punched him.
I'm letting everyone know because we all think something like this couldn't happen to us. Please be careful- even in towns like sweet little Starkville"

The last couple of weeks have been busy and eventful and I haven't had a free minute to blog, but here's a little recap...
Friday night we went out to dinner with some friends for my 26th birthday. It was alot of fun, but I couldn't eat much because last Tuesday I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth out. On that same Tuesday morning, we took Brody in at 5:45 to the hospital to have TUBES put in! It was a crazy couple of days, but Brad was off work and my mom and sister came to town, so Brody and I both got taken care of wonderfully. He is doing great. After 3 back to back ear infections that we couldn't get cleared up, we took him to the ENT dr. and he said time for tubes. He seems to be so much happier already. As for my teeth- they still hurt and I'm pretty grumpy because all I eat are mashed potatoes and chocolate pudding. :)
And here's sweet Brody. He's finally getting hair and he's also finally getting his bottom 2 teeth!
Yayy for the holidays. I LOVE this time of year- from my birthday until Christmas. I love the leaves and I love all the red in the stores. It's so cheery. Also only about 3 more weeks of nursing school, then I get a MONTH long break!!! I know Brad and Brody will be glad I actually get to play and not have my nose in books all the time.

Halloween in Starkville
We went to Starkville this weekend for Halloween and the ballgame, and we had a great time. We got Brody and Julian together to try to get some pictures in their cow and dog costumes. It was too funny. Julia and I were out of breath from chasing them around.

Halloween and funny hats

Brody and cousin Julian/the cutest Levis you've ever seen
Brody got to play with cousin Julian last weekend. They had so much fun! I can't believe Julian will be a year old Dec. 8th.
Also, Brody got his first pair of Levis. Is this not the cutest thing you've ever seen (Brad thought it was funny to pop his collar. He will not look like this in public. :)
