“But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:20-21)

joys of pregnancy
Well so far this pregnancy has been pretty much similar to when I was pregnant with Brody...
I'll be 11 weeks on Sunday. I've had awful nausea for the past 4 weeks. If the medicine Zofran wasn't around, I would be in serious trouble trying to finish my 3rd semester of nursing school. I can hardly eat anything except bland foods- lots of baked potatoes, french fries, bread, and sandwiches here lately. No real cravings so far though but we'll see. Between the nausea and the exhaustion of the 1st trimester, the blogging has been lacking. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I will start feeling better!
It's definitely true that you start "showing" ALOT sooner with the second baby. I'm ok with that because I hated the bloated/ "is she pregnant or does she really like cookies" look, which I had until about 16 weeks with Bro.
The good news? My past 3 test grades have been 100,99, and 96- all since being pregnant- all my highest grades ever. God obviously is taking care of me because as miserable as I've been, I didn't pull those grades out on my own. :) Does that mean this baby is going to be a genius?! Just kidding.
My final is on Monday, and then I will have about a month break until my last semester of school starts. Then in May I will be a real nurse. I can't wait.
Christmas is almost here. Bro is helping us put up the tree this weekend. Have a mentioned how AWESOME he is. I just LOVE my little boy. He is HILARIOUS these days...sounds like a little parrot repeating everything we say. He makes us smile and makes us laugh all the time. And HE is a sweet reminder daily of the joy that comes after all the morning sickness!
