nashville

We are heading out tomorrow for a toddler-free trip to Nashville! We went last year and just loved the town so decided to go back again. I remember making a blog post and asking for suggestions of things to do or places to eat, and I'm doing it again. So if you know any places you HAVE to go in Nashville, make a comment!
Thanks Gigi and Captain for keeping Brody this weekend!!!

In other news, we have a new family member...
Lil' Debbie! Our 7 week old Bulldog pup!!!

Brody wasn't too sure about her at first but he's warming up now!

If you haven't been to the country music hall of fame it really is neat. I love OLD country and it is a cool tour!

My favorite places to eat:
Baja Burrito
Green Hills Grill
Pancake Pantry
San Antonio Taco Company
Bluebird Cafe

Have fun! I am headed there next week!!!

For a romantic dinner I highly recommend Capitol Grille in The Hermitage Hotel. My mom and I ate there when we were driving through TN and it was an AMAZING meal. It was more of a date spot so my mom and I were laughing about our "date night" but after being in the car together for a few days we needed a nice place to stop. When we were there a few years ago you could not wear jeans but I don't know if that has changed. Jon and I just got back from East TN, it is such a beautiful state. Have a wonderful trip!

Okay... so sorry it posted my stuff twice. I wanted to add one more restaurant. It's called Cabana. If you go there, call and make reservations and tell them you want to eat in your own cabana. Make sure you bring your ipod - you can plug it in and listen to your own music in your cabana and watch your own flat screen tv (I think they're LCD). Have fun!!
