home

Sorry for no update but it will be Monday at the earliest. Apparently the pathology slides coming from Arizona got shipped ground instead of overnight. The great thing is that I just got to Mississippi and will be here until I hear from md Anderson. A delay but also a blessing I get to see my family. Keep praying. Love you all.

I am sad I didn't go home or to Meridian this weekend! I think everyone in my family got to see you and Brody and meet Archer except me! :( Hope you had a good time and a safe trip back. You're all in our thoughts and prayers!

Love,
Mary Grace

I haven't seen you since you were a little girl coming to church with your grandmother but seeing your photo you are beautiful young lady with a beautiful family. I was deeply sad when I read on Jenny Reed's prayer list of your cancer. I was told in January I have cancer after going to Little Rock for the past six months for treatment for Multiply Myeloma and having a stem cell transplant I was told three weeks ago I was in remission I'm telling you miracles happen and prayer is the answer. I see you have faith and just hold on to that. Yesterday you were added to our Sunday School prayer list at FUMC. We have around 90 in our class and they are prayer warriors. Many in the class know you and your families and had not heard but they are now praying for you and your families. I have been praying day and night for you. Our God has his arms wrapped around you and you just hold on tight. I will be reading your blog. I don't know if your are familiar with Carring Bridge but I can't tell you how much it meant to me, family and friends. My husband was so good to post and the replies kept me going. I didn't mean to write a book but just want you to know I'm thinking and praying for you. Stay strong and much love to you Mary Stennis

Amanda,

I have not met you, but came so close! My husband Mike and I used to teach the Sunday School class you joined at Champion Forest. My daughter Jessica, who graduated from MSU in 2002, has many friends in common with you, and I am still so sad you didn't make it to Houston while we were still in the class! April told me about you and Brad and how glad she is to have you in their class. I am so sorry to hear about your illness, and I will be praying for you and your family. My husband and I will have a two-bedroom apartment not far from MD Anderson, and I want to extend an invitation to you and any of your family members to stay in our apartment at any time it might be needed. Please take me seriously. We spend a lot of time in Mississippi, where all 3 daughters live (our youngest is a junior at State now), so there will be many times the apartment will be empty anyway. I hope I get to meet you at some point. It's always good to get a Mississippi hug Houston.
